This personal art piece, created for a friend, commemorates a soldier who lost his battle with PTSD. The "Guide on" goes traditions deep to the beginning of the US Army with a poem (Fiddler's Green), that embraces a soldiers devotion. Multi-layered laser engraved wood that is hand glazed with acrylic paint.

I created this skateboard for my son in a preppy punk style that merges modern shapes, colors and line work with heraldry inspired by our family’s Swiss and British family crests, representing the regal qualities in our son. Laser-engraved in multiple layers with hand-painted inlay and epoxy varnish.
